Abstract

Human daily life is always dependent on water, and the phenomenon of drought has many negative effects on water resources and environments dependent on these resources, and water scarcity generally causes irreparable damages in recent years. Therefore, investigating the causes and factors of drought is necessary and necessary to prevent it, spiritual and social factors are more important because they cannot be seen and measured naturally and materially, so the author in this article investigates the factors with a library method and a descriptive-analytical approach. He has discussed and investigated the social and spiritual factors of drought from the perspective of the Quran and traditions, and the results of the research indicate that neglect, indifference to the good and forbidding of the bad, guardianship and oppressive judgment are among the social and spiritual factors of the drought from the perspective of the Quran. Kareem and hadiths, and in fact, this type of drought is a type of divine punishment that afflicts people due to their wrong social behaviors and beliefs.
